Specialist Accreditation

Specialist Accreditation

The Law Society of NSW operates the Specialist Accreditation Scheme to help the general public identify solicitors who have demonstrated expertise in a particular area of law.  To gain this accreditation, a solicitor must first have extensive experience in the field.  They are then required to pass the Law Society’s rigorous examination and assessment program, and continue to update their skills and knowledge at this specialist level every year.

So what does this mean for you?

It means that whenever you see the Accredited Specialist logo next to a solicitor’s name, you can be assured that their skills and expertise are of the highest possible standards.  In the field of Family Law this is very important.  Accredited Specialists understand the complexity of the family law process in Australia and how to obtain the best possible results on your behalf.  They have proven expertise, combined with a comprehensive knowlegde of the legislation and its application in recent cases. In other words, you know you are in good hands.
