Conveyancing Update

2021 saw major changes to the way conveyancing transactions are dealt with in NSW with an overhaul of the conveyancing system and the abolition of paper title.  Gone are the days when solicitors, parties and banks hold certificates of title in their safe custody. Instead, certificates of title are now all electronic and settlements are all electronically managed through a settlement process.

At Rafton Family Lawyers we have a conveyancing team who can handle all purchase and sale of properties.

We are seeing a huge increase in the amount of transactions as a result of the property market being buoyant and many clients are seeking advice on contracts for purchase and advice on auction contracts.
