We are pleased to advise the Government has announced that we are still able to remotely witness documents via video link or telephone right up to 31 December 2021. This is in an effort to try to reduce the inconvenience to clients to have to attend at our offices but more importantly to reduce the amount of face to face contact particularly for lengthy appointments including preparation of affidavits. The legislation was enacted on an emergency basis after the pandemic commenced early in 2020 and is to continue through right until December 2021 at this stage.
