Rafton Family Lawyers is a team of lawyers who can assist you with any wills and estates matter.

Headed by our team leader for wills and estates, Kyle McCabe, our solicitors can provide assistance and advice at our six locations across Sydney and Western Sydney.  Our team can assist with a number of matters including drafting and updating your will.   This would involve an appointment both individually or for couples to discuss and provide advice as to your will either for the first time or updating your current will, particularly where your circumstances have changed.

Kyle and the team can also assist with any will or estate issues such as contesting a will.  This is a situation which you can read about in our further article if you feel that you have been left out or treated unfairly from a will of a deceased relative.  Please consult us very promptly if you feel that you have been left out as time limits do apply for contesting wills and can make the process more difficult.  Its best to obtain one off initial advice to determine your rights and entitlements before spending any further funds.  Kyle and the team of our wills and estates lawyer practice can assist you promptly.

We also can assist in circumstances where a relative or loved one has passed without a valid will or without ever preparing a will.  This process is known as an Application for a Grant of Letters of Administration.  We are Western Sydney’s leading firm for the administration of estates, applying for Probate and Letters of Administration and are able to assist in making an application to the Supreme Court where appropriate in relation to the estate assets.

We also can assist with applying for an Application for a Grant of Probate in the Supreme Court in circumstances where there was a valid will.  If your loved one or friend has passed and you are the executor of the estate, please contact us so that we can assist with administration and prepare all necessary documents in a cost effective and efficient way.

We also can assist with estate planning and make appropriate referrals where necessary to discuss other documents such as an enduring guardianship document and assisting you to draw up a power of attorney so that a friend or loved one can assist financially in the event that you are unwell or incapacitated in the future.

Please contact our team on our 24 hour hotline (02) 45785611 if you have any further questions.
